In the midst of this Global pandemic, it can often feel like we are stuck in limbo or trapped in our own home. Here in Australia, particularly over in WA, the hard borders have proved very effective at keeping our case numbers low and helping us maintain a sense of a new normal way of living. But it also limits travel beyond our borders and has kept families apart for months.

If you're a natural born wanderer and the need for travel is part of your DNA, I suggest filling your space with images of where you long to go. It will make you happy to be surrounded by the people and places you love and if you want, keep changing things up so you're walls don't become stagnant.

One of my favour colour combinations of late is orange and blue.

This makes perfect sense to me as I'm craving more creativity lately. I'm spending more time reading, wanting to paint again and maybe try some pottery.

I've always been drawn to blue but the addition of the orange is new. I'm craving more energy and joy and this is why I'm drawn to this colour palette right now.

Last year, I was all about green. I wanted to be surrounded by nature and spend more time outside, I wanted human connection and meaningful conversations ... didn't we all #hello2020

Colour, and our response to it, is intuitive, fluid and always evolving. We are drawn to what we need at certain times and then move forward to other things later.

There will be colours that are in trend and the constant saturation of them in your news feed which eventually direct your attention to them favourably - recognition is deemed attractive. But pay attention to the colours you're drawn to beyond the trends. Often they're telling you what you need in your life and if you pay attention, that's where the magic is.
