This door came from a salvage yard. It was lovingly and carefully restored and then a hand drawn etching was created as part of the new glass. You could argue that buying a more expensive custom door is better in terms of design but I respectfully disagree.

I think this is a lot more special than buying new. Better for the environment too.

I've spent the day working on my end of year goals

I've spent the day working on my end of year goals and setting some bigger goals for 2023.

3 words have been playing on repeat in my head over and over lately.

1. Educate: I'm an educator with over a decade of classroom experience. I want to draw on this skill set more in my offerings to my clients.

2. Empower: I want my clients to be left feeling empowered from their experience working with me. What does this look like? How can I show up in this way for them?

3. Environment: how can I reduce my carbon footprint and encourage sustainable and ethical consumerism in my clients? Our planet is dying. We all need to take small steps towards positive change.

So these 3 words have become my priority pillars and will shape my decisions as I grow in business and personally in 2023 and beyond.

Reminds me of the scene in Pretty Woman, "Do you have a goal?"

To build or not to build.
Are you the type of person who completes a @lego build and wants to display it forever more or are you a build, smash and repeat kinda person?

I'm a diligent follower of the instructions, gently break apart store in colour coded Tubs and then rebuild. My daughter on the other hand is more free spirited and creative. She will complete a build once then go free range from then on. She has an incredible imagination.

My clients from #projectstandandhygge are build and admire people.
Their collection is unreal. This is the tiniest snippet.
